Business Needs
- A significant pain area for the organization was the manual paperwork being completed at remote locations. It was very time-consuming and created a lot of gaps. The internal teams were not able to connect regularly with the onsite activities either.
- Resource planning for multiple sites was a critical and complex process for the client.
- They wanted to build a centralized and transparent process for workforce management, process management, machinery transportation & clearance management, as well as data structuring
- They also wanted to build a system to evaluate the KPIs defined for the supervisors to support the bonus payout structure and an invoicing structure with reference to the onsite data.
Solution
- The V2 team analyzed the existing processes & built a UI to automate the manual data entry process.
- We did custom development to build an approval process for the validation & approval of the uploaded information.
- By implementing a location tracker, tracking transportation became significantly easier.
- To facilitate a seamless flow of data across systems, we integrated Salesforce with
multiple systems - Paycom using Talend for employee attendance tracking, Digital signature for onsite receipts, Dropbox for forms & eMaint for tracking the heavy haul equipment inventory. - We built a Community for the client to access real-time information.
- We also implemented a vendor management system for all their legal processes.
- With Salesforce Marketing Cloud email studio, Interaction studio, and Social Studio, we enabled tracking client engagement across all platforms.
- Our team also built a simple yet intuitive UI so the end customer could track & approve all the daily activities.
